Students will hear from professionals in the education field, participate in hands-on activities, interact with BHSU professors, talk with current BHSU students, and more! High school students interested in a possible career in teaching will have the opportunity to learn what it means to be an educator at this event on the BHSU Spearfish main campus.

Join the faculty of Augustana's Teacher Education Program for an immersive event designed to give you a firsthand look at what it means to be an educator. Participate in interactive breakout sessions, connect with current students and faculty, enjoy lunch on campus and gain valuable skills to help prepare you for a successful career in education. Students who attend this event and enroll at AU with a major within the Sharon Lust School of Education will be eligible for an $8,000 scholarship — awarded as $2,000 per year."

Join us for the Educators Rising Learning Expo! This event is perfect for individuals interested in a career in teaching. It will feature a keynote speaker and breakout sessions provided by teacher-education candidates in the areas of mental health, classroom management, reading strategies, and artificial intelligence. Participants will meet with Mount Marty education students, learn about its programs, and share in the Mount Marty spirit through food and fellowship. Participants will have the opportunity to practice and receive feedback on their state competitions.
